Global Scholar Program for Students with Disabilities (GSP4PwDS)

Project : Creating Pathways to Global Higher Education

Started in March 2026, the Global Scholar Program for Students with Disabilities (GSP4PwDS) supports students with disabilities, particularly those from rural and marginalised communities, with a focus on Dalit, Adivasi and Bahujan communities, to pursue global higher education.

The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Eklavya India Foundation and provides guidance, mentorship, application support, scholarship guidance and financial support to help students navigate the journey towards global universities.

Pilot Impact

As part of the pilot, we supported 15 students with disabilities through guidance and preparation for global higher education.

So far, 5 students have secured offer letters from reputed global universities. We have also supported students in accessing financial support, including the National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) through the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE), Government of India.
